Erika began her career as an active community advocate working with various non-profit organizations in Toronto towards breaking social barriers for, and thereby improving, marginalized communities. By executing events such as health fairs, panelist conferences and workshops, she was able to connect communities to various necessary service providers. Erika’s passion and support for local non-profits led her to become a member of the Board of Directors for several non-profit Arts festivals around the city. Her desire to help people connect drove her to co-found She Moves Group, an organization committed to spotlighting and enhancing the success of culturally diverse professional women in Toronto. While at the helm of She Moves Group, she got to fully embrace her passion for event planning. Her ability to seamlessly execute and host a variety of events, from gallery openings to networking luncheons, has cemented her as a leading voice for entrepreneurial women in the community. In her spare time, you’ll find Erika redecorating every corner of her home, lovingly yelling at her cat Puyol, or planning wonderfully intimate soirées for her family and friends.
